location
Old broke down villa. *Toilet flushes broken * kitchen taps broken. * No hot water * pool tiles coming off. Pool lights broken and hazardous with sharp edges. Very dangerous! * furniture broken * Mouldy Totally not worth for the price we paid and on top of that they took a security deposit and not sure for what as even if you wanted to, there would be nothing left to break No staff or manager to check the group in. We were asked to check in early so that staff could leave early as it was the day before Nyepi. But even after rushing ourselves to be there on time the staff were not there and only communicated on WhatsApp. We would have moved out if it wasn't Nyepi.

What would you highlight about Villa Himala Bali
Javanese style villa in superb location
Location is perfect. Close to resto/cafe/shop, yet calm&quiet. The villa is beautifully decorated in javanese style. The beds were comfy and generally pretty clean. We love the teracota floor. 1st fl is general area, pool and kitchen. 2nd fl has 3 rooms (one of them has bathup). Master bedroom is on 3rd Fl. 1extra room in 3rd fl has no bathroom. Kitchen has common stove (coz the hob/built in stove was broken), cooking appliance and utensils. There's no microwve. The pool is narrow...suitable for kids. Despite of the flaws, we still consider the villa is good enough to meet our requirement.
The staffs forgot to top up the pre-paid electricity voucher. (We just realized at midnight due to the alert beep-beep sound). There was no hot water on 1st day coz run out the gas and the staffs forgot to buy LPG. Toilet paper and soap were only provided on 2nd day after we complained. The kitchen cabinet and some electricity socket&switch needs maintenance/replacement. The stairs is pretty steep. Might be an issue if you bring old people .
